I'm aware of the long wait list and have also heard that it is an extremely unorganized place.  This kind of discussion was all back in 2010/2011, though.  Have things changed for them now in 2013?  Does anybody have experience with them currently?  Is the director the same from 2010/2011?

Are there any other options that are walkable from University Park or the PG Plaza area?  I have heard of St. Jerome's and the place at the National Archives site, but both of those would require a car to pick up my daughter and my husband might not be back early enough to get her.  Or is public transportation decent enough that I could go get her from these locations?
