I am guessing it is maybe a 30 minute train ride.  They would want to get tickets ahead of time, a lot of Amtrak trains don't stop at metropark so there are less frequent trains there.  That would save them the hassle of dealing with a lot of traffic getting out of the city and would cut down on the overall driving time.[/quote]
