DC's got theirs Dec. 8th.[/quote] Yes, some schools do it this way. They let the top kids know way before the official date. Usually,these kids get "likely" letters, just like many athletes. It does put more stress on those kids who hear about the early Early Admissions, but have to wait until the official date. These same early admits often get better financial aid, and invites to special events on campi that other acceptees do not get.[/quote]
