Had a TV that barely worked / no cable / hand me down furniture and savings of ~ $300K. I needed a financial advisor to tell me - it was OK to get a gym membership and to start spending money. I still don't have the gym membership - and have challenges spending money on myself - but every other year we take a vacation to Disney and I don't think twice about it.[/quote]
