If your child gets into a school in 2014/15, that child will be able to stay in their DCPS. Please remember: this is DC and we do not live in the suburbs where children are routinely kicked out of schools when boundaries change. If DCPS were to kick those kids out, it would disproportionately affect poor(er) black and brown kids...a PR and legal nightmare. DC has a different history and different values from the burbs, so booting currently enrolled kids simply isn't going to happen here.[/quote]
