It depends on what your DD wants to study and what kind of environment she wants in a school. W&M is much smaller and tends to attract a lot of creative types - artists, aspiring performers. It's definitely a much quieter and, from my impression, more studious school in general. UVA is larger, with a much more prominent fraternity/sorority scene, and feels more "southern." Life on campus at UVA involves a lot more drinking and bars - the typical party and sports scenes. Have your DD both campuses - they're both strong choices![/quote]
