I'm so sick of people saying that feds aren't needed. No one realizes how much of an impact the federal government has on their day to day life from food safety, dock workers, air traffic controllers, customs, etc. People whine that the sequester didn't matter, but that's because they don't see the GA checks not going out or the research that's been cut.
