Woodson. You still get a W school. I moved from Annandale to Bethesda because DH and myself both work in Gaithersburg. The kids were going to private in Bethesda. It made no sense for the whole family to commute each day. I miss Annandale. Less traffic, lower taxes, house in cul de sac, nice people. I can't explain it. People just seem more down to earth.
A W school?
In Mont Cty, a W school is considered a better school. It just happens that the Bethesda schools all start with a W. Whitman, Wootten, and Walter Johnson.
Wait, when did Wootten become a w school? I think there's been some w creep there. Whitman, Walter Johnson, and Churchill are the w schools. Bethesda and Potomac. Wootten is in Rockville, a fine school but not quite in the top tier.
But is Woodson a 'Whitman' or a 'Wooten' or not even that good?
