A lot of them are empire or have a high waist so that your legs theoretically would look longer. Although honestly most women I see wearing them don't even have their shoes showing because they're practically dragging on the ground, so I can't really recall noting what kinds of shoes are worn with them the most, and I'm far too lazy to google for pictures.[/quote]
