July was my only option, but it was definitely nice having some time off on either side (and I'm in my 20s now, so this wasn't THAT long ago). It might vary based on what class he's taking though. For example if he's planning to take a math course that is part of a sequence, it might be better to do August so that there is no gap between courses. But if he's taking something that is more standalone July is fine.[/quote]
