This is an extremely unlikely spot to develop bone cancer.  You really don't know what it sounds like an no one should be guessing based on one line posted on the internet.  OP, I understand those middle of the night panics but if you post your symptoms on the internet asking for reassurance someone will come along and say something alarming instead. See? Proves my point OP.  You didn't like it when people didn't suggest what your problem might be, but if anyone does say what they think and urges you to see a doctor, they are told to butt out.
