OKay so I'll be the lone poster on the other side. We were that family who scoffed at all of these goofy luxuries and would NEVER have purchased something like this. But then our son shrieked to high heaven when that cold wipe hit his baby buns in the middle of the night, and seemed to wake him up and make it more difficult to get him back down, so we started taking the wipes to our bathroom and wetting them with warm water before changes. But this wasn't super convenient or easy to do; in fact, it kind of sucked in the middle of the night. I went to babies r us and bought one, my husband raised his eyebrows but used it, and middle of the night diaper changes got much, much calmer and easier. So, I wouldn't recommend that most parents run out and buy one before baby gets here, but don't rule it out!
+1 Before the baby was born I scoffed at the idea of a wipe warmer but after the baby was a week old I ordered one from Amazon. It made those 3 am diaper changes much more peaceful. I should note that I had a winter baby. Maybe they are not as necessary for summer babies? That said, all babies are different. I would not buy one before the baby is born. I would wait to see if you actually need one. You can always run out and buy one from target after the baby comes.
