yes, there are some risks, so you need to take those into consideration.  Definitely ONLY try it under doctor supervision.  There are websites that supposedly sell them, but that would be extremely dangerous.  Who knows what's actually in those pills.  I had to go back to my dr every 30 days to make sure my vitals were still good and that it was still working.  Once it stopped working, he quit prescribing it.  Simple as that.  As he stated, there is nothing like being a "phentermine virgin" and using it for the first time.  the pounds just melt away quickly and you have tons of energy.  Also an increased heart rate, which is scary but also normal.  Once it wears off, you can never really go back to it.  I tried again a year later and had no luck at all.  Most of my weight stayed off, but I did gain some back.  Honestly, I felt a false sense of security from it, so I didn't try very hard to keep it off.  I didn't heed his warning that it will likely only work once, so I thought I could just come back to it later.  After about a year, I had gained about 10 pounds back.  I thought surely I'd have my "virginity" back after a year.  But it was useless, so I stopped after a few weeks.  I wish I'd tried harder to keep the weight off.  [/quote]
