This is GREAT advice! I'm also putting my incoming kindergartner on the bus, and she's super excited. The other reason you might not want to go up to school on that first day is that there will be a whole bunch of other parents up there, and that's a crowded, emotional situation that I'm sure teachers would like to avoid. If your kiddo is excited and confident, take this person's advice and drive the route so that they are a little familiar with where their bus goes, then let them ride the bus! [/quote]
