But now searching for DD2 colleges, I'm finding decent merit aid available. Not for top 25-30 colleges and I don't know about Bucknell. But U Miami (and Miami U, actually) give lots of money in merit scholarships. I think SATs need to be around 1300 and gpa about 3.7. After paying full for DD1, we're thrilled that DD2 is looking at schools with decent merit awards. [/quote]
