He also was looking behind my husband to see what he could see (spoiler alert- ikea furniture and crappy h&m clothes with some forever 21 costume jewelry and a giant pile of diapers and baby clothes). We hadnt yet taken out the trash, so maybe he thought we werent home?  Also there was construction outside making a bit of noise, so maybe he thought no one would hear breaking glass?  We have very little valuables honestly, but don't want to deal with a robbery. The house does look big and expensive, but trust me when I say that other than an (older model) iPad, hes wasting his time.  Also should note we just moved in. I'm going to ask my neighbors about this guy, but am wondering what else I should do?  Do I call the police and tell them I suspect that someone is casing the house?  Will they care?  I live in DC for what it's worth.
