The HSs offer all of the same sports as long as there is interest?[/quote] MCPS has specific varsity sports that are offered. See earlier link for the list. MCPS pays the coaches and sets the schedules for these sports. Not all schools will have enough participants for every sport. You need a whole team for field hockey and lacrosse. There are also club sports, like crew and ice hockey, but those are funded by parents and are not at all schools.[/quote]
