My position in was supposed to be senior management (which has turned out to be functionally not true) with no increase in pay.  Company is changing health care for 2014 that will end up costing me more.  People are nice but the leadership is really insular, it is crazy busy, and I feel like there's little chance for advancement.

I'm in my early 50's and have never left a job after less than a year, but am mulling over this new opportunity and wonder about the downsides.  Any advice?[/quote]
