Thanks, PP. Did she work with a contracting/temp firm or did she contract directly with the firms? Anyone else have ideas?
Almost all of the contracting/temp firms will be placing people for document reviews. I have a couple of friends that do this and they work for 2-3 months at a time for 40-60 hours a week and then they take some time off before applying for the next contract job. If you have the experience it seems that this is steady work (at least for my friends) but on the other hand all of the Craigslist postings I see by temp firms state that they want document review experience and familiarity with the software. If you check CL daily, you will occasionally see small law firms looking for part time experienced lawyers to help with overflow.
