I'm going to guess that the divorce rate in their grades is/was about 10%. That doesn't seem high to me. Keep in mind that the divorce rate is lower among more affluent and educated couples in the general population; you would expect to see this reflected in the parent body of independent schools, which skew toward higher SES.
