If you haven't already talked about alcohol use with him, I'd have a very serious talk with him about the potential dangers of drinking.

Unless this girl is not generally very nice or seems to really boss him around, I wouldn't worry too much.  Observe their dynamic and worry only if you see unhealthy relationship behavior.  [/quote]
