Have you tried the slim sizes at Lands End? Not all the suits come in slim, but many of the two pieces do, and you can buy different sizes top and bottom.
She did not like the look of any of the suits at Lands End, and that was not only for the slim sizes. :( She has a Speedo suit now that we bought from Kohl's last summer and she really does not want another racing suit style swimsuit.
PP you are responding to, here - did you look online or in the store? The store tends to have next to nothing. There are several styles online that are not racing style: http://www.landsend.com/pp/girls-hula-splash-ruffle-shoulder-tankini-top~252757_1187.html (not available in slim) http://www.landsend.com/pp/girls-cape-may-cutie-gathered-side-tie-tankini-top~248918_1187.html (not available in slim) http://www.landsend.com/pp/girls-cape-may-cutie-eyelet-tankini-top~250585_1187.html (not available in slim) http://www.landsend.com/pp/girls-smart-swim-tankini-top~248932_1187.html (available in slim) http://www.landsend.com/pp/girls-butterfly-gardens-ruffle-tankini-top~251757_1187.html (available in slim) http://www.landsend.com/pp/girls-sand-candy-v-neck-tankini-top~248936_1187.html (available in slim)
