We went with Fedders, but heard good things about Mitsubishi and Fujitsu. When we bought ours 2 years ago, the Fedders unit was on sale and rated well. Definitely read reviews. Some units are known to be loud. With ours, you can hear the air blowing, but it's not too loud. Comparable to our ceiling fan on high.[/quote]
