[/quote] No, not really. I have worked in several industries....That is the only thing you have to know the industry, but learning the industry isn't rocket science. This is where I differ from most people. Most people say you have to know the industry...you don't. You just have to be a good marketer and take a very short time to learn the industry. But it is fairly easy to see how industries market whether they are B2B or B2C. Now...some people are not smart enough to pick up on industry trends (consultants), but I am smart and could figure it out in a day or two. That is my skill. I just feel people are so stuck on that...you have to know the industry. You can know the industry, but geography can play a part...if you work for DC and are applying for the same sort of position in California...so no matter what there is some learning in any new position.[/quote]
