I'm 5'7 and weigh 150, would like to be 140 and overall more fit and lean. I'm 38, 2 kids. I was on a pretty good workout tear after the first of the year but sprained an ankle and am now revving up again. Ideally I do cardio tennis twice a week, run once a week, do XBox Kinect fitness twice a week (30-45 minutes) and go the gym in my building twice a week (don't have time for a lot there, usually 30 minutes of cardio and some minor weight lifting). So I'm getting some cardio every day of the week ideally, even if a couple days it's only 30 minutes. I've been thinking about adding pilates to my routine and going to Georgetown Pilates twice a week, but then reconsidered and thought maybe I should instead invest in a personal trainer and get some hard core weights going. Right now there is some toning elements of the Kinect fitness I do and I could also do more at my work gym. What do you think is more important? Please don't say both because I can't afford both either in dollar terms or time terms!!
