The school does GBRS in K and 1st grade?  Is this something we can request to see?  this is a surprise.. why is this done if it's not used for AAP? (what is it used for?)[/quote]

I guess you could see it as it is part of the student record. Contact the AART at your school for more information.  The GBRS is used for placement in advanced academics, specifically Level II or III services in K-2.
