Can someone please describe for me the Tues/Thurs prenatal classes at Yoga District? I have taken classes with Jolene at Flow (on Sundays) and really enjoyed her. I like 5 minutes of hearing what week everyone is in, I enjoy that we do a lot of "traditional" poses with necessary modifications, and I find it a good mix of active strengthening/stretching but still relaxing. I have also enjoyed classes with Jen a few times when she subbed for Jolene. I have also had a negative experience at another place recently where we spent half of it seated on the floor doing arm stretches, then did some meditations, and then maybe did 4 active poses the remainder of class before laying down for 10 minutes. It was not for me. I'd like to try Yoga District's Tues/Thurs evening class but am interested to hear what it's like. Is it active, i.e. are you moving in/out of poses the whole time? Do you find it relaxing, invigorating? What I am looking for is something akin to a typical yoga class (doing down dogs, warrior, tree pose) but with modifications for pregnancy. I am still doing regular yoga 1x per week, but there's a lot of twisting so I'd like to move more towards prenatal classes if I can find one I like. Thanks!
