I used a small cross body bag - I wanted to bring hats for the kids, and wipes for cleaning off, and camera, phone, etc.   It was a messenger style, but not at all full size, and like a PP said, the beauty of cross body is you can carry it on your hip, or in front, or behind.  And because it was a messenger style, my husband could carry it too, so it was out all purpose bag.

It rained 4 out of 5 afternoons, so quick drying and easy is your mantra.  Have fun - we had a blast.  [/quote]
