You really can't underestimate the value of having a good skin care regimen either.

I use bioderma to remove eye makeup.  Then, I wash my face every night (not morning, no need) with gentle cleanser and a sephora brand Precision Pore Cleansing Pad.  This was a $5 tool that I swear has washed my gross clogged pores clean.  I am not going to waste money on a clarisonic when this offers almost the same result (and is probably gentler on my skin anyway)!

Once a week I do a mask with Dermalogica Gentle Cream Exfoliant.

I moisturize with jojoba oil ($7 at trader joes) or weleda wild rose moisture cream.

If I wasn't breastfeeding I would use Retin A.

And every single day without fail I use sunblock, spf 50 or higher.  I just use Neutrogena for this.

I think that people often sleep in their makeup, use too many harsh chemicals, or use too much hot water on their faces and then wonder why their face is so oily, wrinkly, and sun-damaged.
