Because boards like these have such voluminous queries about AAP, it is easy to think you need to be guided through it. Truth is, you can find most of what you need to know on the FCPS website under Advanced Academic Programs -- there are also school-based orientations for parents when your kids are in the lower grades. Most of the psychologists I've seen mentioned here, both private and with George Mason have ample experience with the AAP process and AAP parents. Good luck, but don't worry.[/quote]
