Twinbrook has always been a rough area.  Some of the homes are now rentals and immigrants are occupying many of them.  You may not hear English spoken if you take a walk through the community.[/quote]

PP, what is your personal experience with Twinbrook ES?

When we were looking at houses a couple years back we visited a couple in neighborhoods that fed into Twinbrook ES.  Maybe we weren't in the "rough" part of Twinbrook as the streets were perfectly nice and kept-up well.  It was diverse, yes, but English was certainly spoken, lol.  Ultimately we chose somewhere else (partly because I was a bit nervous about the ES like the OP) but it did leave us scratching our heads a bit.
