He didn't anticipate being bumped down on this round (eg, a sibling moved up the WL). I think that there might be more movement, slowly, over the summer as other kids get off other waitlists (DCPS and charter) and withdraw, but it will be slower going, and it may not move much more than a few slots if that. So, I am a little more optimistic than I was, but not planning on getting in (planning to get a final, heartbreakingly close number, like #2). [/quote]
