We only started using it after she was 1 year old, so she's pretty good about lying back or at least looking up while I rinse. I can see how it would be a problem for younger babies. But actually, I have gotten a little bit of it in her eyes on a couple occasions, and it hasn't really bothered her. Hmm. Oh, and I also use whatever conditioner I have on hand (usually Suave). Doesn't matter if the shampoo is tear-free when the combing causes its own trauma! :)[/quote]
