If so, you can put it in the oven and set it to clean. After cooling, you will have a pristine, unseasoned pan. You'll have to season it again (rub all over with shortening, then heat at moderate heat in the oven for an hour), but it will be rust free. If you don't have a self-cleaning oven, I would suggest scrubbing it completely out with steel wool until the rust is all gone, but this takes quite a bit of elbow grease. [/quote]
