definitely within range, although there are so many different room configurations that my guess is you could get a little cheaper of the 4 of you were willing to share a regular hotel room in the Caribbean Village, and could spend at least 2x that if you wanted a 2 room oceanfront suite.

I'm the PP that just booked Beaches Jamaica - you might want to look at the 2 there (Negril or Ocho Rios); my experience was it was a lot cheaper than T&C.  They are much smaller than T&C but have the same activities.  In some ways I think I will prefer that; for ex, there are 3 pools instead of 5 but we only went to 1 in T&C anyway; there are 5 restaurants instead of 16 but frankly taking my kids to the Japanese Teppanyaki at T&C was one of my less intelligent moves - a buffet, pizza and burgers is all we need; etc.[/quote]
