She was great - the 2300 M St location is great (well, a little pain in the butt getting there with all the road construction - I took the Circulator and walked up to M), it's not very busy and I was seen pretty close to on time. She's very sweet and just had a baby herself 8 months ago, so she knows what she's talking about and what you're going through. She explained stuff to us, but because I had already done a "preconception appointment" at Sibley, a lot of stuff wasn't new to me so I skipped it and asked my questions. But still, no extra monitoring :( I go back in a month and have my NT scan then as well. She recommends it for everyone, even if you won't do anything about your pregnancy because information is power. She does rotate and there is a chance she wont deliver you, but at 34 weeks she recommends making your weekly appointments with the other docs to get to know them. I'm fine with that - I don't really need her to deliver me, I seem to be less concerned about child birth than a lot of people (maybe because of what it took to get pregnant?) The office staff was fine and I'll tell you, it was the most painless blood draw I ever had - and this is coming from IVF where I had my blood drawn almost every day. I recommend her, or at least the 2300 M St location. But, the caveat is I don't have much to compare her to because I never really had an OB before (my GP did all that). I wasn't put off by her at all, she didn't lecture me about weight, and I felt I could talk to her about my concerns. And she laughed at my DH's "I'm uncomfortable in here" jokes. heh
