[/quote] +1 I definitely would not "expect" it, as if your employer is supposed to keep track of your schedule and family needs and automatically reduce your working hours upon a tip in the balance. In fact, for people who need all the money they earn during their curent work schedule, automatically reducing hours would NOT work for them. However, if you have been a good employee and you add value to the business, then I think you can approach your boss with a schedule or partial telecommuting proposal, which he/she is then free to approve, decline, or counter-offer.[/quote]
