FYI, OP, Great Falls is in VA.  The rest of the areas you mentioned are in MD.

Your current school sounds very supportive.  You may or may not find that in a private school as there are many private SN schools and SN public school tracks that fits that niche.  In case you run dry on the private school route, here's a list a SN schools in the area:
