If these are public streets and I'm the public, how can they so restricted?  I get maybe limiting parking to a couple of hours or so, but why restrict it to residents only (who all seem to have big driveways) 24/7?  No one loves traffic and parking on their street but it seems to me that's the price of progress and for the privilege of living so close to a vibrant, growing urbanist area.  I'm not sure it gives people the right to build a moat around the whole neighborhood.    [/quote]
