I don't think this happened to OP, but it did happen to me. 20 days past ovulation (according to my app) I took a pregnancy test which was negative. I wasn't planning to test again until a week had gone by. After 6 more days, I started spotting but got a positive pregnacy test, then what seemed like my period. Blood tests confirmed that this was either a chemical pregnacy or early miscarriage, which started with low HCG that kept dropping. I think the HCG was low when I first tested.[/quote]
