The other reason that ES report cards were changed was to keep the focus on [b]what[/b] the child is learning rather than having us parents hyperventilate when our kids were judged to be merely Good rather than Outstanding.  Don't start hyperventilating about 3 vs. 4, please.  And cut teachers a break!  These standards are new to them too, and everyone is still working to figure out the system.[/quote]
