1. Nervous about it, general fear of needles. The absolute worst thing is having to hold still while someone is doing something to me that hurts. I can deal with my own pain, like cramps or a headache or whatever, as well as any woman (eg, better than a man). But submitting to someone [i]causing[/i] me pain is psychologically torturous. 
2. I flat refuse to patronize a practice or provider that is affiliated in any way with private equity. PE is a scourge on healthcare and boycotting is all I have.

So do you love your independent dentist? Got someone patient and equipped to deal with neurosis? I'm in DC and if I have to leave the District, Silver Spring/ Takoma is preferable. [/quote]
