AGL Monika ballet shoes are my go-to flats. Ballet flats in general have limited support so they are not for a day of touristy activities, but they are very comfortable for a day of normal activities.
I have a thin and narrow foot, and AGL flats are the only shoes I have found that I can wear. I have worn them for a day of touristy activities. They are expensive; I buy them on Poshmark.
Thanks for this - any other brands you would recommend for narrow feet? Lace up shoes are less of a problem but still seems a tough type of foot to fit these days.
PP here. If you can recommend a sneaker with a narrow heel, I'd be grateful. I end up lacing too tight to keep the sneaker from flopping up and down on my heels--only partially successfully--and the over-tightness is not comfortable on the top of the foot. All of which is why I wear AGLs so much. With thick socks I can do boots in winter and for summer I can find sandals that work, but sneakers have proven elusive.
