Are you two mature and kind enough to be good step-parents? Do you really know this guy and genuinely believe in his capability to be a good husband? Would yours and his kids easily merge into this new family? How amicable your ex and his ex are and what roles they have in custody, child support, parenting etc. Only if you find satisfactory answers to all of these questions then consider it seriously. Premarital counseling would be helpful to set ground rules and expectations from each other. That being said, if there are any red flags, you are better off single. [/quote]
