Back in March I had some rapid fluttering in both ears. Not at the same time and it only happened once or twice. A few weeks later, I started physical therapy and noticed more ear pulsing but not anything close to the length of the first time (these subsequent times it was a quick burst, not connected to my heartbeat) and it was happening once or twice a week. Now, my therapy is down even more and I’m having a single puff/pressure feeling (can’t really say it’ll it’s a heartbeat because it’s only a single sensation) but it is happening more frequently. Today I noticed it maybe 4 times. However, while more frequent it is more subtle than any time before. I saw an ENT a few weeks back and she said I could think of it like an eye twitch but this was when I had the rapid burst, not the single puff feeling. So she only knew of the long bursts that were getting better. I’m going to call the doctor again but I’m curious if anyone has experienced this before? I have been experiencing a lot of post nasal drip recently and in the past several years I’ve had lots of ear pressure/fullness that has been unexplained. My biggest fear is that it could be something vascular. I have no reason to think that other than Google. ChatGPT seems to think it’s normal and a tube dysfunction due to my neck issues. Curious if anyone has experienced this and if so, what you asked your doctor?
