I heard prices have actually been dropping a bit. Still really expensive but lower. I think there is a watch party at Wollman rink for game 3. Which is somewhat ironic because fixing it up is the one decent thing Trump has done in his life and there can't be any watch parties near MSG because he is tone deaf enough to go to the game when 99% of the fans don't want him there, even including the few who might actually support him.
If anything prices went up after the Knicks won Game 2 because it's more probable now they'll sweep and close it out on Wednesday. Everyone in NYC is upset about Trump causing all sorts of cancellations and possibly delays getting into the arena.
Tickets went up dramatically after they won Friday night. Then today they have dropped a little bit. I have a friend who is considering selling Monday night tix so is following very closely. Trump needs to not go. But he loves drama and confrontation so the more he is told not to be there, the more he wants to be there. Especially because he knows 95% of the people there hate him so making them miserable is his greatest joy in life. He is a miserable human being. And he has no one in his administration who says no to him. His first term a few cabinet members had some guts. Now it is all pathetic yes men.
