Switzerland, I absolutely love Austria but the public transport, while good in Austria, is better in Switzerland. Prices are also much higher. If that's not a concern, my two favorite cities that haven't been mentioned are Lucerne and Lugano, you can easily go to both in 6 days and probably throw in a third like Grindenwald/Lauterbrunnen/Interlaken (all very near each other)[/quote]
