My math was based on Wyzeant rates for Sped teachers (generally $60/hr), 180 instructional days, 4 hrs each day, no volume discount, working out to ~43K, which is exactly what some of SN-light schools are charging in DMV. [/quote] Are wyzant teachers any good? Are they available during the day? Is your kid capable of sitting in front of a screen for that much time? If you're at work, will he be home alone? $60 am hour is way less than we've paid for high quality tutors. I suspect you get what you pay for.[/quote]
