https://www.yahoo.com/news/politics/articles/artists-pull-trump-backed-concert-091013605.html
The performers include Vanilla Ice, Martina McBride, C+C Music Factory, Young MC, Morris Day, Poison’s Bret Michaels, Flo Rida and Fab Morvan - the surviving member of the lip-syncing duo Milli Vanilli.
This is the state of America. They couldn't find A listers or at least more modern acts to perform for this country's 250th. Sad. I bet you people like Stephen Miller, Melania Trump, don't even know half of who those acts are. You'd have to be over 45 at least, and lived in the US since the 80s to know who those people are. I'm 55, and I know everyone on that list, but what a sad list.
This is so funny, it is pathetic. Hot damn. Vanilla Ice was a one-hit wonder who became a landscaper after failing in the industry. Milli Vanilli was run out of town on a broom and their Grammy revoked. Who is going to lip-sync with the surviving member, and they are British, not American. I loved C&C Music Factory. Now they had some hits that made your body move, but come on. They are like in their 60's and are not going to make you want to get funky or sweat. Morris Day needs the money. I'm sorry he has come so low, but he ain't nothing without Prince to give him cache. Flo Rida, really. I see he feels he has nothing to lose either. I guess Brett owed Trump a favor after winning "The Apprentice". Brett has been everywhere trying to get back into the game. He was on "The Masked Singer" a few seasons back, so maybe this is just another reality show gig for him. A man has gotta do what he gotta do to feed his kids. I have no comment on McBride, Young MC, or Fab Movan, so I will leave that alone. What a sorry lineup.
