The HOS is not a good leader and can’t do a single communication or speech without crying. She is disconnected with what is happening with her faculty and tries to normalize that the amount of people that flee each year is typical. Compared to other schools in the area, they are an outlier with departures. The SR of today is a true fall from grace from a few years ago. The HOS equates being present at events for caring about the school and its people and it’s evident that she could not care less.

There are a few recent hires that give me hope that some good changes will take place to support the girls and faculty. If the current regime doesn’t see the writing on the wall, the future there is bleak. [/quote]

From someone who has been a part of the SR community for decades: 100% agree with every word of this post. I hope it is not deleted by the moderator.  Current MS head: dismissive, imperious, and clearly dislikes children. Current HoS: emotionally dysregulated, unfocused, and narcissistic. Current Admissions Director: crass and . . . well, a lost cause.   And yes: the departing Asst HoUS has been a gem and a steadfast proponent of the G&C of SH education. What a loss.

Truly, -- and especially given the significant faculty turnover this year -- I hope the Trustees are paying attention. The fish rots from the head. The trend is worrisome.[/quote]
